Features of the Series REC
Modules of Alpha Pure R series & Twin Peak have innovative features that increase the overall efficiency of the module.
Technology that allows to increase the efficiency and the performances of the module as the temperature increases. Thanks to the high-power density (watt / m2), REC’s Alpha Pure and Pure-R modules, generate much more power on the same area, thus getting more results from smaller spaces.
Connection between the cells
Cells connected thanks to a combination of films and conductors, that create a solder-free module. Moreover, cells are coupled in a gapless modality, thus increasing the efficiency of the module.
Presence of two cross bars on the back, that increase its resistence to wind and snow loads that allow the module to bear till 7000Pa (713kg/m2) on the front part.
Junction box split in four that creates a module divided into four different sections, not only 3.
This assures that, in case of partial shadowing the other sections will keep on producing at the top potentiality.
Short circuit voltage lower than 9 A that is an advantage for the sizing of both the inverters and the optimizers.
REC modules have a 20 year warranty, that covers eventual flaws or misconduct of the module and the warranty on the performances is 25 year (92% of power after 25 years).
Installers that are part of the REC Certified Solar Professional Program can benefit from a warranty of 25 years.
