LONGi, a company founded in 2000, is one of the leading manufacturers of PV modules and uses the most cutting-edge technologies to better exploit the power of solar energy. LONGi Modules
BayWa r.e. Solar Systems Italy, supplies two series of LONGi solar modules: the new Hi-MO5 series, both mono-perc half cut, with 9 busbar and gallium-doped technology for a higher module efficiency and the series Hi MO 6.

Technology of the new series LONGi Hi-MO 6
The new LONGi modules in the Hi-MO 6 series have been significantly improved over previous versions in terms of performance, design, and reliability by adopting a new cell type with high-efficiency technology.
- HPBC Cells

Solar cells with next-generation HPBC (Hybrid Passivated Back Contact) technology that ensure a high level of module efficiency. The advantages of such innovative technology are mainly related to the increase in module output power due to the action of HPBC technology, which is able to increase the level of light absorption and photoelectric conversion of the cell itself by adjusting its internal structure.
Under conditions of high temperature and low solar irradiation, modules with HPBC technology generate a higher amount of energy than products with PERC technology, with an average increase of up to 10 percent. -
Design

The new LONGi modules have a minimalist aesthetic with a clean, modern design that can easily integrate with a wide variety of application scenarios while still ensuring the highest level of quality and durability.
This new type of design is made possible by the absence of a busbar in the front of the cell, which ensures a compact and linear module aesthetic.

Resistance

LONGi modules use a back-contact welding technology with a single-line weld structure (instead of the traditional Z-shaped structure).
This makes the module more resistant to cracks caused by external weathering and thus improves its reliability and durability over the years.
LONGi Warranty
LONGi offers a warranty of 12 years of the product, both for mono facial modules of the series Hi-MO 5m and Hi-MO 4m, and for the bifacial modules Hi-MO 5. Fort the Hi-MO 6 modules the warranty is 15 years.
Moreover, for the mono facial series, there is a performance warranty of 25 years, while for the bifacial ones the warranty is 30 years.
