About Fronius
Fronius is a company founded in 1945 initially specialized in the production of battery chargers for elevators that since 1970 also started to exploit the electric power coming from the grid to realize cutting-edge welding processes. The production of solar inverters became a fundamental activity in Fronius starting from 1992. The high level of expertise developed in the field of power conversion allowed the company to exploit their know-how.
Fronius’ final goal is to contribute to energetic transition supplying high quality products with an important technical support. This activity is granted by a widespread presence with 37 branches worldwide and partners in other 60 countries.
Fronius decided to open an office in Italy in January 2008, where the technical support and the post-selling services are a fundamental feature that can guarantee a high level of partnership on the entire territory. The Italian branch also offers a program of technical training for installers that allow to get the qualification as Fronius Service Partner and provide technical assistance on behalf of Fronius, thus further expanding the area coverage of the post-sales support.

Wattpilot - EV Charging
Fronius Wattpilot is Fronius solution for a flexible charging of the EV, that allows to use or not the power from the PV plant. The charging can take place both by using the exceeding solar energy produced, and withdrawing energy from the grid whenever the cost decreases, thus granting an economic and environmental advantage.
The charging system is scalable up to 22 kW and can be connected to a normal home electric outlet both single and three – phase. The monitoring is quick and simple thanks to the app Fronius Solar.Wattpilot through which modify the setting, upgrade the software, select the charging modality and visualize all the charging data.

Fronius developed a series of app that enable the installer to plan and manage the PV plant also remotely in a quick way, getting also and immediate support in case of need.
Also the final user can use the monitoring system Fronius to keep always the plant under control.

Plant Planning
Online configuration tool, flexible and easy to use that provides a complete support during the planning phases of the PV plant. In particular, it allows to analyze the spaces where the plant will be placed and make an estimation of the performances thanks to a connection to the weather station.
Moreover, it is also possible to get detailed reports and configurations easily exportable in a unique file for an immediate consulting.

This is an advanced monitoring system that provides to the installers all the plant’s data in real time, adding complete analysis for a continuous optimization of the PV plant.
Thanks to the platform both the users and the installers have the chance to verify remotely the data of the plant, such as the performances and the consumption of energy in real time. The consulting can be done by any device and the automatic notifications in case of problems allow a quick fix, avoiding systems lockouts.
