BayWa r.e. has been named "European Distribution Partner of the Year". The award was presented by REC group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of solar modules. BayWa r.e. supplies high-quality solar modules from REC to installers through its international trading business, while also using the modules itself for large scale projects. The award was made because of BayWa r.e.'s strong international growth and the high sales figures for REC modules in the past year.
"The award for European Distribution Partner of the year reflects our strong business figures in Europe and shows that our growth strategy for the region is working," said Frank Jessel, Head of the Solar Trade Business Entity at BayWa r.e. "The award encourages us to maintain this course and continue to invest in long-term partnerships. For more than 25 years now, we have been focusing on high quality and being close to the customer."
The REC group has been conferring awards on particularly successful partners from the dealer network for the past five years. BayWa r.e. has been part of the global REC Partner Programme since 2006 and has been a Platinum Distribution Partner since 2014. Platinum status is not only measured by sales figures, but also takes into account the commitment of distribution partners to common objectives, installer certification, revenue growth and available training.
